The Buzz from BB in Wrexham!

We had a really successful street stall in Wrexham town centre today giving people information about the AV Referendum. Wrexham Yes2AV

AV, although not perfect is the way forward. We need to make sure that our politicians are responsible to the people - not just the party that selects them and drops them into safe seats.

The old first past the post system produces tactical voting and encourages tribalism. Worst of all it gives us complacent politicians. Let's shake the bag up and get some change - for the better. We should not have safe seats where party politicians can sit tight election after election, without delivering for the people.

You would not decide a football match after the first goal was scored so why do the same thing in something as important as who represents you in government!
